At WEC CCTV, we believe that the people behind our business are what make it such a success. That's why we always take great pride in celebrating the achievements, milestones and contributions of our employees, both inside and outside of work.

This month, I am delighted to congratulate Peter, our Transport Planner, on receiving a District Commander’s Commendation from West Yorkshire Police in recognition of his outstanding service as a Special Constable.

Peter joined West Yorkshire Police in 2011 and has spent the last 15 years dedicating his own time to serving and supporting his local community. Alongside his role at WEC CCTV, he volunteers around 40 hours every month as a Special Constable, primarily working across the Upper Valley area. Through his commitment and professionalism, he has become a familiar and respected presence on foot patrol in both Todmorden and Hebden Bridge.

His dedication to public service has not gone unnoticed. In 2020, Peter was promoted to the role of Section Officer, where he has continued to make a significant impact within the force. As well as carrying out his policing duties, he has taken on a leadership role, helping to guide and support fellow officers while maintaining the high standards expected within the organisation.

Speaking about Peter's achievements, Superintendent Gary Panther of West Yorkshire Police said:

"In 2020 Peter was promoted to Section Officer where he established himself as a leader. He has consistently provided guidance, mentorship and support to his team and colleagues. He is known for constructively challenging behaviours and upholding high standards, significantly contributing to the development of new officers."

Receiving a District Commander’s Commendation is a fantastic achievement and a reflection of the hard work, commitment and professionalism Peter has demonstrated throughout his years of service.

At WEC CCTV, we are incredibly proud to have Peter as part of our team. His dedication to helping others, both within his role here and through his voluntary service with West Yorkshire Police, is truly inspiring.

Congratulations, Peter, on this well-deserved recognition. We look forward to celebrating many more achievements with you in the future.
