CCTV Installation at the Top of Blackpool Tower by WEC CCTV

WEC CCTV is proud to have played a part in safeguarding one of Britain’s most recognisable landmarks - the iconic Blackpool Tower. Standing 518 feet tall and first opened in 1894, this historic structure has watched over the seafront for more than a century, attracting millions of visitors each year. Inspired by the Eiffel Tower in Paris, Blackpool Tower remains one of the UK’s best-loved attractions and was designated a Grade I listed building in 1973.

For this unique project, WEC CCTV supplied and installed specialist camera mounting solutions to enhance security at the top of the tower. Using our reliable wall and corner CCTV poles, we were able to provide a cost-effective method to achieve the required camera height, offering up to 4 metres of clearance above roofs, parapets and walls. These poles are designed and manufactured in-house by our expert team to ensure strength, stability and long-lasting performance, even in demanding environments.

Installing CCTV equipment at such height and exposure required precise planning and robust materials. Our bespoke mounting solutions provided the perfect fit for this challenging location, ensuring optimal camera positioning and dependable coverage of key areas.

Whatever the project, WEC CCTV delivers tailored security infrastructure to meet the needs of every client, from large-scale landmark installations to smaller bespoke sites. Our extensive range of CCTV poles, brackets and custom mounts are trusted across the UK for their quality, reliability and value.

The Blackpool Tower project is another example of how our innovative engineering and practical design expertise help keep Britain’s most important sites protected. At WEC CCTV, no challenge is too high when it comes to delivering dependable solutions for our customers.
